Home School

For parents and carers who are as passionate about home schooling as we are here at London Tuition, we offer either full home schooling or tuition to supplement and support the education you are delivering at home. Post-pandemic, home schooling has become an increasingly popular option due to the flexibility of lesson time, duration and location; enabling your child to learn in the most suitable environment for them. It allows a completely individualised learning experience for students. In school students may take longer to grasp particular concepts, or race ahead and feel their potential is constrained. Home schooling can eliminate these issues, as the student and their mentor have complete autonomy over their rate of progression.

Our Founder

London Tuition was founded by Shanice Corr, a PGCE trained teacher, BSc Psychology Graduate, Preparatory Tutor, Special Educational Needs & Specific Learning Difficulties Specialist and 4+, 7+ & 11+ common entrance exam assessor.

Formerly taught at North Bridge House Preparatory School, London Fields Primary, Phoenix Special School, Make Believe Performing Arts School and as a Learning Support Tutor at Wetherby Prep School.

Alongside teaching in schools, she has tutored pupils in independent schools, state schools and SEND schools, from ages 4-18yrs. She has also successfully prepared students for 7+, 11+ and 13+ entry into some of London’s top schools including City of London Girls, North Bridge House, James Allen’s Girls School, Highgate School, Eltham College, Colfe School, Wetherby Prep School and many others.

Our founder is both academically and creatively inclined with skills in Performing Arts, Dance, Gymnastics, Aerial Circus and Art & Design. London Tuition Tutors are empowered and encouraged to be inspired creatively outside of their academic work, as the most ingenious teachers are the most innovative and inspiring to their students.
